My Trip to Chateau Elan Wine Resort
Welcome to the first blog post for SM BizTalks: Lifestyle. The idea of incorporating lifestyle content comes from me recognizing that business isn’t just what happens behind a desk anymore, it is our life. We handle business and enjoy life all at the same time. I thought I’d start with a travel blog post from my visit to a wine resort. I enjoy wine tastings and learning about wine. I also may or may not have another wine resort trip booked…. Stay tuned to find out.
I stayed at Chateau Elan for a little over a week. We decided on Chateau Elan because it was a wine resort, it was beautiful, they had several restaurants, a separate spa, bike riding, and more. Chateau Elan is in Braselton, Ga., about an hour from ATL.
At the resort, you can stay at the main location, at the spa (which is separate but still on the property), in a villa, or at the Hampton Inn, which is also on their property. We stayed at the main resort location, which was beautiful. The main location had several dining options open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also had a late night bar that stayed open where you could order food. Across the way on the property, there was an Irish Pub that had some pretty good food too. In the tasting building, they had a steak restaurant. The only place we did not go to was the steak house because even though we were there for over a week, their hours didn’t quite line up with that we had planned. None the less, ALL of the food was yummy!
Because during my visit I had no intentions of the content being a blog, I didn’t get much images of the food, the resort, or our activities. I will include the images here that I do have, and plug a link to my IG reel from the trip.
Some of the things we did was of course tour the winery, tasted just about all of their wines and sparkling wines, and tasted their ports. Their ports were sooo delicious. We also did bike riding, walked the property (or hiked because it was so hilly lol), and spent a lot of time lounging by the pool. They offered this really cool tea time event, which we went to because we love tea. It included our own section of the resort’s main area, our own personal server, about 15 different tea options and all the trimmings, and a bottle of sparkling. It was so cute and fun. There was music playing and tower of snacks were so good.
We did a car tour of the several estate subdivisions on the property. They were mostly gated, but beautiful homes from what we seen. The driver told us about some of the famous people that live there and I know a couple also. But, I won’t mention them here because I’m not sure thats “ok” lol.
Anyways, the trip was really fun, the food was good, and we enjoyed ourselves. The golf course was massive and a nice restaurant with a top of the line burger sat right over the golf course. Would I go back? Definitely! Am I going back? Not right now. We have another wine resort trip already booked and I cannot wait to share it with y’all. Would y’all visit this resort? Let me know in the comments. Also, let me know what type of content or info you would like to know/see more of.
I would definitely visit this resort! Sounds like a very relaxing and much needed getawayđź’•I also want to see more fashion content!! Yes!!!
